Twisted Pear Audio - Buffalo DAC Review
Some time ago, you emailed me, asking if you could review our Buffalo-II DAC. I agrees and sent you a complete Buffalo-II DAC, IVY-III output stage, power supplies, etc. Roughly $800 worth of gear. This was September of 2010.
Im the Editor of the Danish music magazine Soundcheck, and we are going to do a issue on studio gear.
Since you are one of the few who uses the new ESS chip ( unless you want to buy Bryston for 4.000$)
We would like to do an article on your Buffalo II Dac.
We have a very good tech guy (who also happened to be photographer) We will do a picture series on the building process and finally of course do the sound check on it.
You will get a translated version of the review and access to all the pictures in any way you want.
That’s our way to say thank you for your cooperation.
Please let me know your thoughts on this
Around Christmas, I asked you how it was going, and I was told the review would be published in January....
"We should be ready here in the Christmas holyday so the review will be in place in mid January
Im totally excited to hear them.
We are going to build a amp for a Pc based Jukebox.
We are looking for something compact and still good sounding a relatively powerful, what about the Sympatico amp? Would that be a solution. We can build it into the jukebox it self or into the speaker but Im mostly for building into the jukebox so you can choose whatever speaker you like.
I have a friend who are working as a carpenter on the royal Theater he is going to build the enclosure in real Wurlitzer retro style
I think its going to be great
Have a merry
I have not seean or heard anything from you since. Even after repeated emails to you. I am beginning to feel like I have been scammed, and ripped off, but I know there is probably a very good reason for all of this.
Perhaps you could finally explain to me what is going on?
