Hvis man læser på Toxic's hjemmeside, kan man læse følgende:
"The first thing is that we only sell our products directly to guitarists, musicians, end customers all over Europe/ USA, without any retail middle-men. That means that you will never find our custom Toxicpedals effects in your local store. By selling them directly to you we can offer those pedals to more then half the price of what they would normally end up costing on the street."
Hvis ovenstående citat skal holde vand, så skal Toxic pedalerne være modificeret i forhold til de Joyo pedaler man bl.a. kan købe hos Thomann for få hundrede kroner. Så det vil da være interessant med lidt oplysninger fra producenten (Toxic) om, hvad der adskiller deres pedaler fra Joyo's, i lighed med, hvad man f.eks. kan læse på Robert Keeleys hjemmeside om hans moddede Boss pedaler.
